tasks AND Job Job responsibilities:
OPERATIONAL PERSPECTIVE:
·        PROCUREMENT
Ø Review / Prepare Tender documentation for all MEPFS work packages making sure that the project requirement is well defined in terms of scope of work, following the standard Commercial terms and the Company's general conditions of contract.
Ø Review / Prepare Commercial bid evaluation & finalize recommendation w/ the Project Manager.
Ø Facilitates the Project's Request for Proposal (RFP) / Bidding process in compliance to company policies.
Ø Ensures that all MEPFS materials for procurement are with item codes in compliance to the item code naming structure.
Ø Monitors that all requests are converted to Purchase Order (PO) / Job Order (JO) / Contract.
 
·        CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
Ø Prepare Fit-out bid proposals to Clients / Tenants.
Ø Ensure that all collectibles from Fit-out clients are 100% billed and 100% collected.
Ø Review the work valuation for payment to Contractor / Sub-Contractor and make recommendation for approval to the Project / Section / Department Manager.
Ø Review / Prepare MEPFS work packages Contract Agreements.
Ø Review / Prepare the Evaluation of MEPFS Contract Variation Claims from Contractors/Sub-Contractors.
Ø Facilitates the reconciliation on MEPFS Variation Claims w/ the Contractor / Sub-Contractor.
Ø Review all MEPFS endorsed reconciled contract variations for processing.
Ø Ensures the validity of bonds & insurances per Contract / work package.
 
·        COST MANAGEMENT
Ø Monitor and ensure that all endorsed requests (goods/services) have budget allocations.
Ø Ensures that all requests (goods/services) are captured / recorded to proper work breakdown structure (WBS) / Charge Codes.
Ø Review the reconciled Project's Committed and Expended Cost.
Ø Review / Prepare Fit-out Project Cost Forecasting.
Ø Review / Prepare the updated Project Cash flow.
 
·        FINANCIAL CLOSE-OUT
Ø Monitor and Review the Project Closeout implementation per contract / work package (quit claims, guarantee bonds / warranty certificate).
 
·        COMMERCIAL REPORTS
Ø Review / Finalize the Project's Monthly Financial Report w/ the Project Manager.
Ø Review / Prepare & submit the monthly billing monitoring report.
Ø Review / Prepare & submit the monthly contract variation monitoring report.
Ø Review / Prepare & submit the quarterly financial close-out report.
Ø Assists in all tasks/deliverables of Sr. Quantity Surveyor (manager) & Commercial Manager
 
 
Requirements:
EDUCATION AND COMPETENCIES Requirements:
·        BS in Mechanical or Electrical
·        Has a minimum of 5-years' practice in Quantity Surveying field.
·        Adept in cost estimating for MEFPS Trade
·        Good written and verbal communication skills
·        skillsable in AutoCAD
·        Adept in MS Office applications
·        Skilled in Tender documentation
·        Skilled in Cost derivation / Analysis
·        Skilled in Construction Contract Agreements
·        Proactive
·        Resourceful
