Richfield Agrifarms Inc. Richfield Agrifarms Incorporated (RAI) is a company born from and built upon the vision of its founders to transform an expanse of land idled into a productive farm area growing rare and quality varieties of fruits and crops.? Established in 2010 Mabalacat City, Pampanga, Central Luzon, Philippines, RAI started out on farming a 12-hectare area growing exotic dragon fruit with cuttings and cultivation techniques obtained from Taiwan. This high-quality dragon fruit, specially of the red variety, is grown through a complicated, painstaking and scientific method, for which a global patent registration was obtained. In 2014, RAI has attained recognition as the first Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) certified dragon fruit farm in the country, adhering to its commitment to ecological farming practices. With its skills and resources, the team made an intensive study in producing its very first biofertilizer boosted with natural beneficial microorganisms. As a result, Soilusyon Microbial Inoculant (SMI) was born and registered under Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority (FPA) in September 2016. In 2018, in the spirit of continuous improvement and development, RAI has geared up its study on biofertilizer aiming to upgrade its first product to a full-pledged organic fertilizer. Thus, the company has directed all efforts to develop its manufacturing operations complying into the Philippine National Standards on Organic Soil Amendments (PNS/BAFS 183:2016). The company has tapped Negros Island Certification Services (NICERT) as its chosen Organic Certifying Body (OCB) to acquire organic certification for Bureau of Agriculture and Fisheries Standards' (BAFS) product registration. On January 9, 2020, RAI has finally received from NICERT the Compliance Certificate confirming that our organic fertilizer named ENRICH+ conforms to the Philippine National Standard on Organic Soil Amendment's Rule on Organic Production. By May 26, 2020, BAFS has officially issued RAI's Certificate of Registration and ENRICH+'s Certificate of Product Registration.?
