Job Description
Summary of the function:


The prosperous candidate will exercise administrative control over all aspects of financial operations of the business, including budgeting, payroll/human resources, and business planning. The prosperous candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that records across financial departments are accurate. As well as superviseing everyday accounting and cash flow, the Senior Finance and Administration Manager will manage the company's financial reporting mechanisms, managing the financial staff to ensure that official monthly and annual financial statements comply generally accepted accounting principles, administer internal audits and cooperate with external auditors.

For the administrative aspects of the function, they will be responsible for ensuring that all personnel-related matters are conducted in line with standards and regulations, training new or junior staffers within the Finance and Administration team and communicating with vendors and consultants as required.

The function includes but is not limited to:

    Accurate and timely financial plans, budget, forecasts and management reports (including but not limited to P&L variance analyses, client profitcapability analyses and cost analyses, FTE/Facility costing, etc.) 
    Implementation of and compliance with financial goals, policies, procedures, controls, reporting systems and statutory requirements (SEC, BIR, PEZA, LGU, etc.) 
    Accurate and timely cash forecasts / projections and invoices/billings 
    supervise timely collection of receivables (trade, claims from statutory agencies and terminated employees) 
    supervise accurate and timely payroll remittances/reporting to statutory agencies (BIR, SSS, Pag-ibig, Philhealth etc.) 
    supervise timely and accurate maintenance of the company’s monthly accounts – journals, book keeping etc. 
    Prepare financial presentations for management using modeling and other analytical methods to help understand the company’s investment portfolio risk and exposure performance 
    Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring and creating financial models for decision making 
    Management of the compliance needs of the organization, from a personnel, regulatory and tax perspective 
    Evaluate project proposals and perform strategic analysis to determine present and future financial performance, explore possible alternatives and recommend appropriate action. 
Requirements:

    A self-starter with a proven track record in a fast-paced environment 
    Strong analytical and problem solving expertise, excellent written & verbal communication expertise, presentation expertise 
    capability to communicate clearly and effectively at a senior level 
    capability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients outside of the Philippines 
    Supervise a team and a proven track record in managing people and processes 
    practice in Management reporting for decision-making 
    Demonstrable practice in month-end close and P&L: / Balance Sheet preparation and reporting 
    Demonstrated computer expertise and proficiency in applications and software packages such as Xero) and MS Office programs – Word, Excel, PPT & Outlook 
    Strong attention to detail including accurate numerical, spelling and grammar expertise 
    Effective organizational and time management expertise, including the capability to prioritize work, meet established time frames and make recommendations 
    Demonstrated capability to work independently and as part of a team effectively including the capability to contribute to a positive and productive work culture 
    Proficiency in statistics & mathematics are essential 
    Abreast with accounting/tax rules & regulations 
    PEZA reporting practice is a major plus 
    Preferably with MBA or MBA units 
    Familiarity with DOLE legislation and management of the administrative requirements 
    Have a can-do attitude that fits with the culture of the organization 
    Previous work practice in a multi-nation or shared service company is preferred
