Client Information

The Company is a content marketing company that works with a variety of clients with various marketing requirements. They also own a parenting magazine, with the owner also an author and has lots of future books that will need designing.

The Company needs Somebody with a high attention to detail and strong word processing skills.

As a publishing company, they have a lot of content and writers to manage. Your function will be to ensure people are meeting deadlines and submitting content (ads and editorial) to us on time and to the briefs given. You will also research lists of things to do in specific regions and pull together What’s On Guides and school holiday guides for our publications.

Your function could include:

· Manage contributors to ensure they are submitting content at agreed time

· Arrange Interviews for print, digital and podcast

· Basic Proof Reading

· Write Stories as per brief given

· Research and data enter activities into our guides and directories

· Schedule content on digital media

· Chase and coordinate sales editorial

· Schedule and prepare newsletters

· Create basic sales funnels and automations

· Meet deadlines

· Loading blogs to the website & posting on social media

· Linking magazines

· Ensuring team are finishing tasks on our systems

· Pulling together reports for the director

· Research

· Data Entry

· Preparing, organising and storing information in paper and digital form

· Dealing with queries on the phone and by email

· Managing diaries, scheduling meetings and booking rooms

· Arranging travel and accommodation

· Arranging post and deliveries

· Taking minutes at meetings

· Typing up letters and reports

· Updating computer records using a database

· Maintaining office systems

· Liaising with suppliers and contractors

· Liaising with staff in other departments, e.g. finance, HR
Requirements:
Must Haves

· At least 2 years of significant work practice
· practice with WordPress
· practice with writing to improve SEO
· Data entry into Excel
· Exceptional expertise of the English language and a high level of spelling, grammar and attention to detail (we have very strict writing guidelines which will be supplied)
· 70-100 WPM type speed, having excellent typing skills - speed and accuracy
· Possessing the capcapability to multitask
· Being proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, including Outlook, Google Calendar and other organisational tools
· Being organised and detail-oriented
· Possessing strong communication skills, both verbal and written to communicate with business managers and employees and in some cases, stakeholders and clients
· Having the capcapability to work independently as well as part of a team
· Being flexible and able to adapt to changes in the workplace
· Possessing a positive attitude
· Having a availcapability to learn

Nice to Haves

· practice with Agora
· Basic graphic design using Indesign and Photoshop to create social media tiles
· practice with FLOW task management software
· practice with Magazine Manager software

These will be taught otherwise.

Home Office Requirements
