Baggage Service Agent (Reliever)

Global Virtuoso, Inc. Metro Manila
Part time, Casual/Temporary, Contract
SUMMARY
Handles over-all management of all incoming cases and queries related to baggage mishandling, baggage tracing and baggage claims. tasks include attending to customer query from telephone reservations, airport team members, and airline head office relating to missing checked or cabin baggage/luggage.
tasks & RESPONSIBILITIES
Baggage Tracing
   » Attends to all query from telephone reservations, airport team members, and head office relating to missing checked or cabin baggage.
   » Handles all acceptable call escalations relating to mishandled baggage.
   » Generates everyday tracing list from assigned ports.
   » Conducts online and offline tracing probe with prospect airports using everyday broadcasting, phone calls and emails.
   » Updates all respective systems of the baggage information / case status.
   » Provides updated case information to passengers with mishandled baggage cases via phone or email.

Baggage Claims
   » Provides claim information and instructions to all claiming passengers.
   » Relays all baggage claims requests to designated Baggage Claims agent for further processing.
   » Assesses baggage claims caused by delay, loss, damage, pilferage of checked or cabin bagggage.
   » Drafts, proofreads and completes customer correspondence.
   » Updates cases with accurate information and documentation.
   » Computes offer amount of passenger compensation located on assessment results and airline conditions of carriage.
   » Processes and queues all claim refunds.
QUALIFICATIONS
   » Bachelor's in Airline Operation/Airport Management or equivalent
   » Minimum of 1 year previous Baggage Services practice
   » Basic practice and familiarity on airline practices and exposure to airport operations
   » Efficient customer service expertise particularly complaints management
   » Effective communication expertise - verbal and written
   » expertise on Microsoft Office suite
   » capability to meet desirable results during high-pressured situations
   » Strong attention to detail
   » Clear capability to synchronize with a dynamic team
   » Capcapability of handling different task
   » Amenable to work on shifting schedule
